About the position

The Automotive Service and Retail Manager at Belle Tire is a dynamic, customer-focused role responsible for overseeing the operations of a busy tire and automotive service facility. This position emphasizes brand representation, customer relationship building, and team development, while ensuring operational efficiency and achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a Belle Tire Brand Ambassador to enhance brand recognition.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships by assessing their needs and providing appropriate solutions.
  • Follow Belle Tire's Sales Process to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage cash drawer operations, including cashing out customers and daily cash reconciliation.
  • Direct workflow in the service department to ensure efficiency and quality service.
  • Meet and exceed defined goals and objectives for the store.
  • Handle day-to-day paperwork related to retail operations.
  • Open and close the store as part of key holder duties.
  • Coach, manage, and develop store employees to enhance team performance.
  • Write and manage the store schedule for all employees.
  • Assist in hiring, interviewing, and addressing employee relations concerns.
  • Understand and analyze the store's profit and loss statement for financial management.
  • Manage inventory and ensure facility cleanliness, including the shop, showroom, and restrooms.
  • Foster a positive team environment and promote a culture of doing the right thing for customers, employees, and vendors.
  • Continuously share ideas for improvement and perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 3+ years of management experience in a retail and/or auto service environment is highly preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with co-workers, management, and customers.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Willingness to work varying hours, Monday to Saturday, with some overtime as needed.
  • Ability to work in a workshop environment with heavy physical demands and long periods of standing.
