About the position

Fred Beans Toyota of Flemington is looking for an Energetic and experienced person to drive our Service Lane! As a customer-focused leader with a passion for delivering exceptional service in the automotive industry, you will assist all dealership personnel in resolving any potential concern with customer service, vehicle service, or repairs as necessary. You will know, understand, use, and teach all the manufacturers' and in-house warranties, policies, and procedures to ensure prompt handling of all repair orders, warranty claims, sublet invoices, and inspect Service Writers desks weekly for any materials. Your role will also include ensuring all invoices and route sheets are completed properly and accurately, overseeing and directing Service Writers in their performance, assisting Service Writers in the resolution of customer concerns, and maintaining a high level of cleanliness in the shop, service drive, and overall facility.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting all dealership personnel in resolving any potential concern with customer service, vehicle service, or repairs as necessary
  • Know, understand, use, and teach all the manufacturers' and in-house warranties, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure all invoices and route sheets are completed properly and accurately
  • Ensure that all purchase orders are charged to the correct repair order on the correct repair line and documented properly
  • Oversee and direct Service Writers in their performance of daily customer and group handling
  • Assist the Service Writers in the resolution of customer concerns
  • Oversee Service cashiers in their customer service and cashiering responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the shop, service drive, and overall facility

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of Service Drive or 5 years of Service Writing experience
  • Understanding of automotive systems, repair processes, and service operations
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Capability to lead and motivate a team of service advisors and technicians
  • Proficiency in software tools used for scheduling, customer management, and repair tracking
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
