About the position

The Automotive Service Manager at A Autoworks is responsible for overseeing the service order process, managing a team, and ensuring excellent customer service in a busy auto repair shop. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the service order process and consult customers to identify their vehicle repair and servicing needs.
  • Manage the inventory process and order parts when necessary.
  • Generate accurate cost estimates and establish work orders.
  • Schedule service appointments and coordinate with technicians.
  • Communicate with customers regarding time expectations, updates, and questions.
  • Lead and develop your team while reinforcing company policies and standards.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience leading a team and managing a service department.
  • Prior experience in auto service management.
  • Solid understanding of automotive systems, including parts, tools, and services.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Professional personal appearance and friendly personality.
