About the position
The Automotive Service Manager is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales within the automotive service department. This role involves engaging with customers both in-person and over the phone, managing sales processes, and ensuring that sales targets are consistently met or exceeded. The manager will utilize established sales procedures to recommend services and maintain strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Performs a high volume of warm calls to potential customers, demonstrating excellent phone sales skills and the ability to complete a one-call close.
- Engages and consults incoming customers, both in-person and over the phone, to successfully generate and close sales.
- Effectively establishes and maintains customer relationships.
- Consistently meets/exceeds established sales targets.
- Follows AAMCO sales procedures to ensure quality service.
- Provides service recommendations based on customer needs.
- Performs workflow management to optimize service delivery.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience working in a direct sales role.
- Experience in a base salary plus commission role.
- Some retail experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
