About the position

The Automotive Service Manager is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales within the automotive service department. This role involves engaging with customers both in-person and over the phone, managing sales processes, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective service recommendations and relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Performs a high volume of warm calls to potential customers, demonstrating excellent phone sales skills and the ability to complete a one-call close.
  • Engages and consults incoming customers, both in-person and over the phone, to successfully generate and close sales.
  • Effectively establishes and maintains customer relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Consistently meets or exceeds established sales targets set by the company.
  • Follows AAMCO sales procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness in sales processes.
  • Provides service recommendations to customers based on their needs and inquiries.
  • Performs workflow management to ensure efficient operations within the service department.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of experience working in a direct sales role.
  • Experience in a base salary plus commission role.
  • Some retail experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
