About the position
The Automotive Service Technician (Level 1 - 2) at A-Z Bus Sales is an entry-level position focused on learning and performing a variety of Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) tasks related to the delivery of buses. The role emphasizes skill development in repairs while maintaining a customer-centric approach. Candidates with prior experience in automotive repair, particularly with diesel, gas, propane, CNG, or electric vehicles, are preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) tasks for bus deliveries.
- Develop skills to perform repairs in a repeatable manner.
- Maintain a customer-focused approach during service tasks.
Requirements
- Entry-level knowledge and skill set in automotive service.
- Willingness to learn about the bus industry.
- Experience working on Diesel, Gas, Propane, CNG, or Electric Powered Vehicles is preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Formal training or demonstrated knowledge in vehicle electronics.
- Experience with brands like Cummins, John Deere, Caterpillar, Eaton, Bendix, Ford, Blue Bird, Forrest River, Tesla, or other EV brands.
