About the position

The Automotive Service Technician (Mechanic) at Ken Garff Automotive Group is responsible for performing high-quality repairs and maintenance on vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction through expert service and adherence to dealership standards. Responsibilities

• Perform efficient and expert work on repair orders according to dealership, state, and factory standards.
• Address customers' primary concerns with diagnosis, repair, and quality control to meet 'Fixed First Visit' expectations.
• Conduct the Ken Garff Electronic Multi Point Inspection and provide video documentation for every vehicle.
• Notify Service Advisor of any additional recommendations or if more time is needed to complete repairs.
• Master the Dealer Management System (DMS) for work distribution, electronic inspections, repair quotes, communication, and timekeeping.
• Complete required training as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the workspace and in all customer vehicles.

Requirements

• Prior automotive technician (mechanic) experience preferred.
• ASE or dealership manufacturer certifications highly preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid in-state driver's license and a good driving record per company standards.
