About the position

The Automotive Store Leaders at Mavis Tire are responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of a new tire and automotive repair location in Robertsdale, AL. This includes managing staff, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The roles available include Assistant Manager and Service Manager, both requiring strong customer service and automotive knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Schedule mechanics/technicians' work
• Order parts for repairs
• Ensure quality and timely completion of jobs
• Communicate safety and mechanical issues to the store manager
• Assist customers with tire selections and under-car repair services
• Utilize up-selling techniques in sales interactions
• Maintain housekeeping of the shop

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 1 year of experience in automotive parts and/or tire sales
• 1 year of experience in automotive repairs/maintenance
• Basic math and PC skills
• Basic supervisory/leadership skills
