About the position
The Automotive Store Leaders at Mavis Tires & Brakes are responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of a new tire and automotive repair location in Barnesville, GA. This includes managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of service and safety in the shop. The roles available include Assistant Manager and Service Manager, both requiring a strong background in automotive sales and repair services.
Responsibilities
- Schedule mechanics/technicians' work
- Order parts for repairs
- Ensure quality and timely completion of jobs
- Communicate safety and mechanical issues to the store manager
- Assist customers with tire selections and under-car repair services
- Utilize up-selling techniques in sales interactions
- Maintain housekeeping of the shop
- Provide on-the-job training to new employees
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 1 year of experience in automotive parts and/or tire sales
- 1 year of experience in automotive repairs/maintenance
- Basic math and PC skills
- Basic supervisory/leadership skills
