About The Position

As the largest and fastest growing privately owned automotive rental and leasing company in North America, we are excited to announce an opportunity for an Automotive Technician. This role involves performing car service, repair, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service, and vehicle reconditioning service according to company policy and procedures. The Automotive Technician is expected to exercise reasonable judgment and initiative while focusing on customer needs and adhering to our Quality Standards. The position is based at our Service Center located in East Granby, CT, where you will be responsible for ensuring that all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturers' specifications and guidelines. You will also be required to complete necessary training, perform warranty and recall repairs, and maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order accurately. The role demands a commitment to providing safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance, as well as compliance with part and inventory tracking procedures. In addition to technical skills, the position requires the ability to perform manual labor, including bending, kneeling, crouching, lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods. The physical demands include handling objects up to 50 pounds and maintaining a clean and safe work area. This position offers an hourly rate between $30 and $41.60 based on certifications, with additional shift differentials for weekday and weekend shifts. A tool allowance is also provided upon hire and annually.
