The territory includes states such as Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa, and the position may require up to 60% travel, including occasional overnight stays. Daily responsibilities include conducting in-person visits and phone contacts to engage with automotive leads, acting as a liaison between SiriusXM's products and services and the assigned dealerships. The role demands intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to log daily dealership activities and key contacts for effective scheduling and tracking. Additionally, the Territory Manager will be responsible for analyzing dealership activity, ensuring accuracy and completeness across the region, and following up on leads to maximize enrollment in dealership programs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent presentation and training skills, with a preference for those who have both inside and outside sales experience. A proven track record of diligence in a remote position is essential, along with a bachelor's degree and familiarity with the geographical market. The role requires a self-accountable individual who can achieve and exceed sales quotas while maintaining a positive attitude and professional image. Experience in product presence, training, sales incentives, and category management is also beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting leads and generating enrolled dealers within the assigned automotive dealership/shop territory.
  • Conducting in-person visits and phone contacts to enroll automotive leads into dealership programs.
  • Acting as a liaison between SiriusXM products and services and assigned automotive dealerships.
  • Logging daily dealership activity and key contacts for scheduling and tracking purposes.
  • Analyzing dealership activity to ensure accuracy and completeness throughout the region.
  • Meeting personal sales production expectations and achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of sales success in automotive or field marketing.
  • Excellent presentation and training skills.
  • Inside and outside sales experience preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% within the assigned territory.
  • Self-accountability to achieve and exceed sales quotas.
