About the position

The Program Manager at Autumn House is responsible for overseeing the operations of prevention and intervention services and programs, ensuring they are implemented and monitored effectively. This role emphasizes trauma-informed practices and client-centered care, focusing on staff supervision, training, and professional growth. The Program Manager will also handle documentation, reporting, and compliance with funding agencies while fostering a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff to meet program needs.
  • Set goals to encourage ongoing professional growth and define expectations focused on individual strengths.
  • Oversee overall operations of the program through trauma-informed approaches.
  • Schedule and monitor staff workload.
  • Complete staff orientation checklists, competencies, and performance evaluations in a timely manner.
  • Submit all required reports, documentation, and narratives to Finance, Grants, or Contracts as per departmental processes.
  • Ensure all documentation required by funding agencies is completed accurately and timely.
  • Maintain an appropriate data system for program needs and ensure staff have the skills for data entry.
  • Attend meetings with state coalitions, funding sources, and stakeholders in the Domestic Violence service continuum.
  • Implement and manage organizational changes through a team approach.
  • Report to the Associate Director about areas of concern and client safety issues.
  • Review the budget regularly with the Associate Director, Director, and/or Chief Program Officer.
  • Work with the Philanthropy/Human Resources Departments for volunteer and intern placements.
  • Participate in agency/program specific professional growth activities.
  • Complete all required training according to agency policy.
  • Adhere to the agency Code of Conduct and occupational ethics.
  • Transport clients in agency vehicles when necessary.
  • Participate in 'on call' rotation.

Requirements

  • High School or GED required; Associates or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two years of extensive experience in the formulation, development, implementation, and monitoring of prevention/intervention services and programs.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Trauma Informed Practices.
  • Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation.
  • Current Auto Liability Insurance.
  • CLEAN 39 Month Motor Vehicle Record.
  • At least 21 years of age.
