About The Position

The AV IT Engineer I at Dartmouth College is responsible for implementing and maintaining audiovisual IT solutions that enhance teaching, learning, and collaboration. The position requires technical expertise and support skills to ensure the efficient delivery of AV IT solutions.

Requirements

• Associate's degree with 13 or more years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience in AV system design, implementation, and management within an educational or similar complex environment.
• Strong technical proficiency in AV control systems such as Crestron, AMX, or Extron.
• Extensive knowledge of IT network systems and the ability to integrate AV over IP.
• Robust project management skills and experience with IT project management methodologies.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced certifications in AV technologies (e.g., QSC Level II, Dante Level III, AVIXA CTS, CTSD, or CTSI).
• In-depth knowledge of audio DSP, system configuration programming, and familiarity with educational technology trends.
• Experience with ITSM tools and methodologies and programming in multiple languages.
