About the position

The AV Sales Account Manager at Ford Audio Video is responsible for driving sales in the audiovisual technology sector, focusing on B2B relationships and targeting senior executives. This role involves actively prospecting, developing, and closing sales opportunities while collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions. The position offers a competitive compensation structure with significant earning potential through commissions and bonuses, emphasizing a performance-based sales approach.

Responsibilities

  • Actively prospect to find, qualify, develop and close a growing customer portfolio.
  • Target senior executives and C-Suite contacts to present the Ford AV value proposition.
  • Set appointments for in-person, Zoom/Teams meetings and problem-solving assessments.
  • Conduct site surveys and review value propositions with senior executive decision makers.
  • Partner with Ford AV engineers, estimators, and support staff to create and deliver winning customer proposals.
  • Close sales to exceed compensation expectations.
  • Represent Ford AV as the single point of accountability to customers.
  • Nurture, develop, and grow key accounts.

Requirements

  • B2B Technical Sales Experience
  • Audio Visual (AV) Sales Experience
  • Documented Success Under a Hunter Focused, New Business Sales Process
  • Proven Experience Successfully Selling in the 'C' Suite
  • Ability to Find, Qualify and Close Sales Opportunities within 90 Days
  • Work authorization (Required)

Nice-to-haves

  • Capital equipment sales experience (1 year preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • PC skills including MS Office, Hoovers, LinkedIn, Internet and other sales productivity tools
