About the position
The AV Services Manager at the University of South Carolina's School of Medicine Greenville is responsible for overseeing all audiovisual and integrated technology systems. This role involves managing the installation, configuration, and support of various systems in educational and meeting spaces, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and providing direct support and training to students, faculty, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Oversees and provides high profile onsite, remote, and distance support for complex, integrated audiovisual systems.
- Offers high level facility support including audiovisual recordings, video teleconferencing, and distance learning.
- Continuously drives technological advancement and ensures that SOMG remains current in emerging technology trends.
- Oversees and manages AV projects, developing refresh strategies and schedules for technology systems.
- Provides event support as needed for both on-site and remote locations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of experience in a related field.
- Knowledge of Crestron, Cisco, Extron, Biamp, MacOS, iOS, Windows, and Office 365.
- Ability to install various technology hardware/software and perform advanced troubleshooting.
- Strong customer service skills to assist a diverse clientele.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience with managing digital signage.
- Previous experience with Appspace.
