About the position

CourtSmart Digital Systems is seeking experienced audio-visual (A/V) support technicians to join their team in North Chelmsford, MA. This full-time position involves providing remote support for installed A/V systems, as well as designing, installing, and maintaining various A/V hardware and software systems. The role is integral to the company's mission of expanding its reach in the digital recording market, utilizing advanced technology and AI in courtroom solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote support for installed A/V installations.
• Design, install, and maintain multicomponent hardware and software A/V systems including digital recording systems, presentation systems, PA systems, multi-camera switching systems, and video conferencing systems.
• Travel to sites for scheduled installations, site visits, and support issues as required.
• Research, test, and evaluate new A/V products such as controls, DSPs, microphones, cameras, and presentation systems.

Requirements

• Experience in supporting A/V installations is essential.
• Understanding of A/V signal flow and the ability to design, troubleshoot, and fine-tune programming for DSPs and control systems.
• Basic knowledge of Crestron control system programming is a plus.
• Ability to implement and integrate video conferencing systems.
• Experience in performing rack builds on-site and in-house with cable management to industry standards.
• Ability to terminate standard A/V cables and wiring such as XLR, ¼-Inch, BNC, and CAT5e/6, db9 pin serial, etc.
• General knowledge in interacting with networks.
• Experience in remote A/V support.
