About the position

Music Masters Pro AV Systems Group is seeking Audio Visual Technicians to design, install, and support large-scale AV systems, audio systems, and Crestron control systems. This role offers opportunities for both entry-level and advanced technicians who enjoy technical challenges and learning in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair audio-visual equipment including projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing tools.
• Utilize voltmeters and schematics to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues related to AV systems.
• Manage cabling for audio and visual setups, ensuring proper organization and safety standards are met.
• Provide field service support for on-site events, ensuring all equipment functions correctly before and during operations.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their AV needs and provide technical solutions that meet their requirements.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on all AV equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Document service reports and maintain accurate records of equipment status and repairs performed.
• Stay updated on the latest AV technology trends and advancements in the industry.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Audio Visual Technician or similar role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to maintain various audio-visual systems.
• Proficiency in using voltmeters, reading schematics, and understanding electrical components related to AV technology.
• Familiarity with cabling techniques for audio and visual setups.
• Experience in field service roles with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of electrical systems (E & I) is highly desirable.
• Competence in computer hardware setup and troubleshooting as it relates to AV systems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to telecommunicate effectively with clients and team members.
