About the position

The AV Technician role involves working collaboratively with a team to install, maintain, and repair electronic systems across Audio Visual, Network, and Broadcast domains. The technician will troubleshoot issues, conduct field service visits, and ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing low voltage electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic systems in the Audio Visual, Network, and Broadcast domains.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electronic systems, including software and hardware components.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to perform repairs and installations.
• Conduct field service visits to customer sites to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Perform low voltage electrical work, including cabling and wiring installations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.

Requirements

• Three or more years of commercial AV installation and service work.
• Knowledge of automation systems such as Extron, Crestron or BiAmp.
• Experience with installing and commissioning production video equipment.
• Experience with video wall and projector installation.
• Knowledge of networking concepts.
