About the position

The Aviation General Manager position at Trego/Dugan Aviation is a part-time role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the airline ground handling station at St. Cloud, MN regional airport. The role emphasizes compliance with company and federal policies, effective communication with internal and external departments, and the establishment of performance goals. The manager will lead by example, focusing on customer service, employee development, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain safety compliance of aircraft, customers, facilities, and employee working environments.
• Address issues and provide corrective action as warranted.
• Ensure compliance with all Federal directives and security requirements.
• Audit to ensure quality assurance and compliance with station manuals.
• Monitor and verify quality control of customer service, baggage handling, and departure dependability.
• Establish effective and cost-efficient work schedules for all station employees.
• Coordinate training and ensure training requirements are met for all employees.
• Provide feedback and respond to customer complaints/compliments in coordination with Customer Relations.
• Establish employee recognition programs for station achievements.
• Work to establish contract revenue and pursue opportunities for station profitability.

Requirements

• Three years of supervisory/management experience in the airline industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred.
• Thorough working knowledge of the aircraft used at the station.
• Knowledge of current FAA/TSA security directives and procedures affecting CSA/GOA Services.
