The Administrative Assistant will provide essential support to the Accounting Manager and Inventory/Records Administrator/Contracts Administrator, primarily focusing on travel booking and various administrative tasks. This role is critical in maintaining organized purchase records, preparing shipments, and updating inventory management software. The Administrative Assistant will also conduct periodic audits of inventory and accurately enter maintenance records into aviation maintenance management software. Additionally, the position involves assisting the maintenance team with clerical tasks, booking travel for employees and others upon request, and answering phones. The role requires providing general accounting support as needed and responding to customer service requests. The Administrative Assistant will also assist with any general office duties as required, ensuring smooth operations within the office environment. The work environment is a professional office located at an airport, which may be noisy at times. The role is largely sedentary, but the employee must be able to occasionally lift inventory items weighing up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, or crouch. This is a full-time position with expected working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with after-hours availability for summertime travel bookings needs.
