About the position

The Avionics and Electrical Systems Integration Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the installation of advanced aftermarket products and upgrades for commercial rotorcraft. This position involves hands-on integration of complex avionics and electrical systems, ensuring seamless operation of communication, navigation, autopilot, and instrumentation systems. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integration solutions that meet aerospace standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce detailed integration data for aftermarket products and modifications.
• Translate modification specifications into clear engineering designs using technical documentation.
• Research efficient integration methods to solve complex electrical and avionics challenges.
• Leverage knowledge of avionics systems and wiring design techniques to create integration plans.
• Communicate system designs and specifications with shop managers, vendors, and external agencies.
• Support design reviews and collaborate with customers to refine integration solutions.
• Identify and assess new products and vendors for integration requirements.
• Provide engineering support across disciplines for overall aircraft completions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field with 0-2 years of relevant experience, OR Associate's Degree in Electronics Technology with 9-13 years of experience in avionics systems integration.
• Strong understanding of commercial and military avionics systems and aerospace electrical practices.
• Expert-level experience with AutoCAD and familiarity with Unigraphics (NX) or CATIA.
• Practical experience in avionics and electrical design, integration, and troubleshooting of complex systems.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
