About the position
Bevan Aviation Inc. is seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to join their team at Wichita's Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport. The role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of aircraft avionics systems, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot avionics systems.
- Install, inspect, and maintain aircraft avionics systems.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft avionics systems.
- Test and inspect aircraft avionics systems for proper operation.
- Perform maintenance on aircraft electrical systems.
- Repair and replace defective components in aircraft avionics systems.
- Perform system integration tests of aircraft avionics systems.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Airframe & Powerplant License (Preferred).
- 1 year of experience in aircraft maintenance (Preferred).
- Must meet the requirements of Airport Authority to receive a badge and have no ramp restrictions.
- Current Valid Driver's License.
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in avionics installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
