About the position
As the AVP, Analytics Engineering at PURE Insurance, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development of data models and schemas that are essential for analytical purposes. This position is part of a centralized Data & ML/AI department that is actively investing in enhancing our data, analytics, data science, machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of data models and schemas.
- Own the roadmap toward achieving data democratization across all departments.
- Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to meet data reporting and advanced ML/AI modeling needs.
- Ensure data quality and consistency.
- Create and manage data documentation and metadata.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- At least 10 years of experience in analytics engineering or data analytics or data engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience within the P&C insurance industry.
- Proven experience managing high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
