In order to fulfill that mission, we've launched a search focused on identifying an experienced and influential leader to join our Pharmacy team in the role of AVP, Business Technology Implementation. The role requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across segments and/or enterprise wide. The AVP will report directly to the Vice President of Pharmacy Business Improvement. The AVP, Business Technology Implementation will lead an organization of 35-40 associates, including approximately 4 direct reports. This role is pivotal in delivering new technological solutions to meet business needs within a specified scope while ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives. The AVP will be responsible for completing and/or coordinating the implementation of design and requirements, testing, operational readiness, and transitioning to the appropriate production support team. This position involves making decisions that are typically related to intradepartmental coordination, development, and implementation of strategic plans, as well as achieving business outcomes. Additionally, the AVP will develop and implement strategic plans for the scope of management that are aligned with the Segment or Business strategy, ensuring that the IT portfolio spend is effectively delivered and executed. This role is essential for driving the organization towards its goals and improving consumer experiences through technology.

Responsibilities

  • Lead an organization of 35-40 associates, including approximately 4 direct reports.
  • Deliver new technological solutions to meet business needs within a specified scope while aligned to enterprise objectives.
  • Complete and/or coordinate implementation of design and requirements, testing, operational readiness, and transition to the appropriate production support team.
  • Make decisions related to intradepartmental coordination, development, and implementation of strategic plans, and business outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the scope of management that are aligned with the Segment or Business strategy.
  • Deliver and execute on the IT portfolio spend.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 8 or more years of direct leadership experience.
  • Experience problem solving and consultation within complex environments.
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional and collaborative teams' efforts.
  • Relationship management experience.
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment.
  • Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, and Agile Development Methodologies.
  • Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Pharmacy related experience.
