The AVP-Change Management will play a key role in ensuring that digital change initiatives meet objectives by increasing employee adoption and usage. This is a new role within our Process Improvement and Data Management team, which leads the design and adoption of new workflows in the credit ratings and research department. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to create and shape a holistic digital change management strategy for a department of approximately 1,800 persons. In this position, the AVP-Change Management will focus on the people side of change, identifying opportunities to evolve our culture, communicate more effectively, improve digital tool adoption, and create cross-functional coherency. As both an advisor and workstream lead, this candidate will lead, develop, and operationalize successful change and communication strategies using recognized models such as ADKAR. This role will enable sustainable digital transformation and ensure employee engagement before, during, and after the implementation of digital solutions. The candidate will collaborate closely with process and data improvement teams, product management, developers, lead analysts, and senior management.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the change management workstream and strategy across R&R digitalisation workstreams
  • Prepares comprehensive plans and programs for digital tool adoption across multiple initiatives
  • Integrates change management activities into project plans, monitors and escalates risks or concerns
  • Applies behavioral tools to assess the change impact, ensure organizational readiness, and minimize associated risks for stakeholder groups
  • Owns the design, development, delivery, and management of change communications
  • Develops adoption measurement, communication, training, and risk mitigation plans in partnership with process, data and product management teams
  • Defines and measures success metrics for the effectiveness of our change progress
  • Consults and coaches senior managers and project teams around the organization to ensure employee adoption of the future state tools
  • Designs and oversees the execution of engagement feedback loops including employee roundtables, surveys, and analytics

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Five to seven years of experience working in organizational transformation, with a focus on culture and change
  • Demonstrable understanding of how teams go through a digital change and the change process
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Change SME (Change management certification such as Prosci preferred)
  • Strong consultative skills including insight gathering, problem solving, strategy development, influencing, facilitation, intervention planning
  • Exceptional problem solving and program management skills
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Relationship-oriented and able to build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships, including at senior levels of the organisation
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex and technology-related topics, and demonstrable ability to listen emphatically and actively
