About the position

The AVP, Chief of Staff Office at Barclays is responsible for executing key tasks for the Global Head of Corporate & Investment Banking and the Chief of Staff of Investment Banking. This role supports the Americas executive leadership team and broader senior management across Barclays Group, focusing on governance, risk management, and strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Execute key responsibilities for the Global Head of Corporate & Investment Banking and Chief of Staff.
• Own the regulatory driven Related Party Transactions (RPT) program across various business units.
• Manage the Senior Managers Regime (SMR) framework across Barclays US businesses.
• Oversee governance, risk, and issue management for SMR.
• Manage recertifications on behalf of the President for top bankers.
• Handle enterprise risk management under the governance pillar.
• Prepare reports for Corporate and Investment Banking Client Satisfaction.
• Organize and run CIB Management bi-weekly leadership meetings and other executive meetings.
• Assist in annual performance reviews for Barclays top bankers.
