About the position

The Assistant Vice President/Senior Claim Manager at HUB International will oversee a team of directors, managers, and supervisors responsible for various claims types, including Liability, VPD, Litigation, and more. This role focuses on managing daily workflows, ensuring adherence to established claim procedures, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the claims department.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage teams to meet or exceed performance metrics and KPIs.
• Manage loss costs and allocated loss adjustment expenses effectively.
• Ensure high levels of employee engagement and retention.
• Provide direction and training to claims leadership and staff.
• Conduct regular meetings and audits of claim files.
• Complete performance evaluations for claims adjusters.
• Attend management meetings and coordinate with underwriting/claims teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience managing automobile liability and Commercial Auto claims.
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
