About the position

The AVP of Digital Marketing at California Credit Union (CCU) is a leadership role responsible for developing and executing the digital marketing strategy to enhance member acquisition, growth, and profitability. This position involves overseeing various digital channels, including paid media, social media, email, and the CCU website, while ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals. The successful candidate will leverage data-driven insights to create multi-channel marketing programs and campaigns that drive revenue and brand awareness. This is a hands-on managerial role, requiring collaboration with other departments and the management of a Digital Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine a digital marketing strategy and execution plan to maximize member acquisition and retention.
  • Create a targeted email strategy that aligns with CCU's strategic goals and drives product usage and profitability.
  • Oversee paid digital media strategy, budget, and media buying to maximize KPIs.
  • Manage the CCU website for content, compliance, optimization, and user experience.
  • Implement SEO/SEM strategies to enhance traffic growth and website optimization.
  • Strategically oversee CCU's social media channels and related KPIs.
  • Analyze first-party data to create actionable digital campaigns that drive growth and revenue.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to market products and services effectively.
  • Develop digital campaigns to optimize product awareness and utilization.
  • Integrate social media, paid media, marketing, and PR to drive revenue growth.

Requirements

  • BA or BS degree in marketing or related field.
  • 8-10 years of digital marketing experience, including acquisition and engagement strategies.
  • Expertise in paid media buying and strategy planning.
  • Knowledge of AdWords, Google Analytics, and tracking mechanisms for digital marketing.
  • Experience with email deployment platforms like Exact Target or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data for informed decision-making.
  • Experience with digital copywriting and web languages.
