About The Position

The AVP and Global Head of Employee Relations Investigations at MetLife is responsible for leading a global team of investigators to effectively manage workplace issues.   • Employee Relations experience in markets outside the United States, preferably spanning Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of global investigators, promoting best practices in conducting workplace investigations.
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of investigations across regions, aligning with company policies and local regulations.
  • Develop and implement training programs for investigators to enhance their skills and ensure adherence to investigative protocols.
  • Oversee and participate in complex investigations related to workplace complaints, policy violations, and ethical violations.
  • Analyze findings, prepare comprehensive reports, and recommend appropriate actions to resolve conflicts while safeguarding employee rights and organizational integrity.
  • Conduct macro analyses to discern trends and develop initiatives to further strengthen the core cultural tenets at MetLife.
  • Partner with Compliance, Legal Affairs, and Risk Management functions on relevant investigations and reporting.
  • Research, interpret, advise, and ensure adherence to company policy, programs, procedures, state, federal, and local employment laws.
