About the position

The AVP, Enterprise Marketing Product Manager at Axos Bank is a pivotal role that combines innovative thinking with technical expertise to drive the execution of Enterprise Marketing technology strategies and programs. This position is designed for a hands-on leader who is passionate about creating and managing an integrated marketing ecosystem that ensures seamless and exceptional customer experiences across all channels. The ideal candidate will have a customer-centric mindset, strong business and technical acumen, and operational expertise, making them adept at integrating solutions within the Axos ecosystem. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the planning and execution of enterprise marketing programs across both Consumer and Commercial-Securities groups, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals and marketing objectives. They will develop and maintain comprehensive marketing roadmaps that outline key initiatives, timelines, and milestones to guide the execution of marketing strategies and programs. The AVP will also act as the marketing product owner, participating in Sprint planning and providing continuous feedback to development teams, ensuring that business requirements are translated into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria. The position requires a proactive approach to program management, with a focus on meeting key milestones and deadlines while swiftly identifying and overcoming any blockers or constraints. The AVP will collaborate closely with product management and technical experts to identify and implement optimal solutions for complex business challenges, fostering alignment and consensus among stakeholders. Continuous improvement is a key aspect of this role, as the AVP will analyze and evaluate current processes to define, document, and implement enhancements that improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize extensive knowledge of MarTech tools to implement and optimize marketing technologies, enhancing campaign performance and customer engagement.
  • Leverage hands-on digital marketing experience to drive campaign, content, and platform integration strategies and execution, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives.
  • Lead the planning and execution of enterprise marketing programs across the Consumer and Commercial-Securities groups, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals and marketing objectives.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive marketing roadmaps, outlining key initiatives, timelines, and milestones to guide the execution of marketing strategies and programs.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to define and document workflows, customer experience blueprints, journey maps, process maps, and data flows, driving necessary changes to achieve project goals.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives.
  • Act as the marketing product owner, actively participating in Sprint planning and providing continuous, actionable feedback to development teams.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive operating and support structures for marketing products, including robust documentation, training programs, and staffing solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with product management and technical experts to identify and implement optimal solutions for complex business challenges.
  • Synthesize diverse inputs from multiple sources into clear, actionable requirements, fostering alignment and consensus among stakeholders.
  • Lead projects with a keen focus on meeting key milestones and deadlines, swiftly identifying and overcoming blockers, gaps, and constraints.
  • Analyze and evaluate current processes to define, document, and implement improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Marketing Technologies, including CRM, Marketing Automation, Analytics, Web, and other digital tools and platforms within the MarTech and AdTech space.
  • 10+ years of overall Marketing experience.
  • 5+ years of experience developing technical requirements for marketing technology projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or related fields; a Master's degree is a bonus.
  • Digital Marketing or MarTech platform certifications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in an agile environment; knowledge of Scrum is an asset.
