About the position

The AVP, Finance Workforce Management role is part of the Resource Management Team within the Finance COO Organization at Citi. This position focuses on driving transparency and accountability in resource management, supporting workforce management, and managing internal governance processes related to Citi's Transformation Program. The individual will enhance control and governance processes, ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures while collaborating closely with subject matter experts to achieve targeted objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the team's internal governance documentation related to process improvement, change control, and quality assurance.
  • Design, plan, prototype, productionize, deploy, maintain, and document reliable and scalable process and operations solutions.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with Finance partners and HR partners to drive best practices in Finance Technology investment and governance.
  • Document procedures, controls, and processes as required.
  • Provide effective challenge on the design and capabilities of Finance Investment Requests and Business cases, analyzing complex datasets to reach desired outcomes.
  • Focus on risk and controls, identifying and raising risks, and implementing appropriate controls for compliance with policies and standards.
  • Read and understand Policies, Standards, and Procedures to grasp key responsibilities, risks, and controls for business processes in scope.
  • Derive insights from Business Case write-ups and associated datasets.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of overall experience in finance or related fields.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining internal governance and process management documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to recognize complex issues and regulatory requirements.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience in delivering presentations to clients and senior management.
  • Ability to operate with limited direct supervision.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, with the ability to multi-task effectively in a high-volume environment.
