About the position

Responsibilities

  • Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
  • Ensure code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements and devise solution strategies.
  • Participate in code reviews and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay informed of industry technology trends and contribute to the organization's technology communities.
  • Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
  • Implement effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
  • Consult on complex issues and provide advice to People Leaders to resolve escalated issues.
  • Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures for control and governance.
  • Manage risk and strengthen controls related to the work done.
  • Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Communicate complex information to stakeholders and influence outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience in software development and delivery using industry-standard programming languages and frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of secure coding practices and unit testing methodologies.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in risk management and developing policies/procedures for governance.
  • Strong analytical skills to engage in complex data analysis and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex information.
