About the position

This role remotely leads a team of Inside Sales Practice Development Specialists who are responsible for engagement and growth of purchase volume within their assigned Health & Wellness Dental Industry vertical. The role reports to the VP - Inside Sales and will hire, train, coach, counsel, and mentor Inside Sales - Practice Development Specialists (PDS). This role works directly with the VP - Inside Sales and Senior Sales & Industry Leaders (GM's) to execute sales strategies. Additionally, this position will partner with other sales leaders, Quality Assurance & Training Managers to execute sales strategies effectively. The primary responsibilities include remotely hiring, onboarding, training, managing, and leading an Inside Sales PDS team to ensure the execution of industry dental vertical sales and marketing initiatives. The role requires coaching and mentoring Inside Sales team members and evaluating their performance based on a benchmark measurement system through regular monthly one-on-ones and ad-hoc coaching sessions. The individual will be responsible for increasing purchase volume across the Book of Business by developing and implementing strategies, tactics, and best practices within the team to drive engagement with practices for growth, as well as to increase purchase volume in underperforming accounts. This position also involves partnering with various departments including field sales, marketing, and operations to execute strategies for growth. The individual will leverage feedback for effective coaching provided through Quality Assurance and independent call listening (both live and recorded) to support sales process enhancements and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Gathering and reporting back the Voice of the Customer to industry leadership is also a key responsibility. Other duties and special projects may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for increasing purchase volume across Book of Business through development and implementation of strategies, tactics, and/or best practices within the team.
  • Partner with various departments including field sales, marketing, and operations to execute strategy for growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Services, Sales, or Call Center environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership with people management experience with direct reports.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills (written, oral, non-verbal).
  • Ability to work in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
  • Customer focused mindset with ability to respond quickly to customer needs.
  • Proven ability to work independently.
  • Solid knowledge of SalesForce functionalities and SalesForce reporting capabilities.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
  • Strong finance business/industry acumen.
  • Strong analytical acumen; experience developing, and using, a variety of metrics to evaluate performance and drive skills.
  • Knowledge of customer financial drivers/needs.
  • Medical Sales / Marketing experience.
  • Hands-on self-starter with excellent time management, presentation/public speaking and organization skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills; ability to build relationships and work effectively across functions and levels.
