About the position

In this role, you will remotely lead a team of Inside Sales Practice Development Specialists focused on driving engagement and growth of purchase volume within the Health & Wellness Industry vertical. Reporting directly to the VP of Inside Sales, you will be responsible for hiring, training, coaching, counseling, and mentoring the Inside Sales team. Your collaboration with the VP of Inside Sales and Senior Sales & Industry Leaders will be crucial in executing effective sales strategies. Additionally, you will partner with various departments, including field sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure the successful implementation of these strategies. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the Inside Sales PDS team, ensuring they execute industry vertical sales and marketing initiatives effectively. You will coach and mentor team members, utilizing a benchmark measurement system to evaluate performance through regular one-on-ones and ad-hoc coaching sessions. A key focus will be on increasing purchase volume across your Book of Business by developing and implementing strategies and best practices that drive engagement with practices and enhance performance in underperforming accounts. You will also leverage feedback from Quality Assurance and independent call listening to support sales process enhancements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Gathering and reporting the Voice of the Customer to industry leadership will be essential in refining strategies and improving customer engagement. Creating a positive and engaging work environment that encourages teamwork, celebrates diversity, and rewards success will be a priority in your leadership approach. Additionally, you may be assigned other duties or special projects as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Remotely hire, onboard, train, manage & lead an Inside Sales PDS team to ensure the execution of industry vertical sales/marketing initiatives.
  • Coach/mentor Inside Sales team members & evaluate based on a benchmark measurement system through regular monthly one-on-ones and ad-hoc coaching sessions.
  • Increase purchase volume across Book of Business through development and implementation of strategies, tactics, and/or best practices.
  • Partner with various departments including field sales, marketing, and operations to execute strategy for growth.
  • Leverage feedback for effective coaching provided through Quality Assurance & independent call listening to support sales process enhancements.
  • Gather & report back Voice of the Customer to industry leadership.
  • Foster a positive and engaging environment that encourages teamwork, celebrates diversity, inspires performance, and rewards success.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Services, Sales, or Call Center environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership with people management experience with direct reports.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills (written, oral, non-verbal).
  • Ability to work in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
  • Customer focused mindset with ability to respond quickly to customer needs.
  • Proven ability to work independently.
  • Solid knowledge of SalesForce functionalities and SalesForce reporting capabilities.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
  • Strong finance business/industry acumen
  • Strong analytical acumen; experience developing, and using, a variety of metrics to evaluate performance and drive skills
  • Knowledge of customer financial drivers/needs

  • Hands-on self-starter with excellent time management, presentation/public speaking and organization skills
  • Outstanding communication skills; ability to build relationships and work effectively across functions and levels.
