About the position

The AVP, Network Access at WelbeHealth is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring optimal access to care and enhancing the network partner experience across the WelbeHealth PACE program, which is dedicated to helping seniors remain in their homes and communities through comprehensive medical care and community-based services. This position requires a dynamic leader who will implement a unique approach to network contracting and payment operations that aligns with the core principles of the PACE philosophy. The role is designed to be scalable and replicable across various regions, market dynamics, and service types. In this capacity, the AVP will be accountable for the overall network access and quality, as well as the performance of payment processing and plan operations. The individual will be tasked with designing and executing a national network development strategy, overseeing complex executive negotiations, and engaging in strategic business development efforts. This includes developing the necessary infrastructure to support high-quality, multi-state networks that ensure access across all WelbeHealth programs. The AVP will also be responsible for exceeding key performance indicators through a network and plan operations model that balances a local-first approach with scale, compliance, satisfaction, financial outcomes, and consistency. Additionally, the AVP will champion a provider service-centric approach, fostering an ownership mindset that delivers a seamless experience and drives value. The role involves developing strategic initiatives aimed at driving participant census growth and sustained enrollment through innovative and high-quality delivery models. A significant aspect of this position is cultivating and guiding a high-performance team that consistently meets goals, collaborates cross-functionally, and maintains individual and team satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for network access and quality, as well as payments processing and plan operations performance
  • Design and actualize a national network development strategy

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field; professional experience may be substituted
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of eight (8) years leading in value-based care or managed care
  • Direct exposure to network contracting and health plan operations
  • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring and developing team members
  • Comprehension of intricate market dynamics and synthesizing into impactful strategy
  • Experience scaling highly elaborate and regulated operations
  • Knowledge of payor/provider dynamics
