About the position

We are seeking a Lead Senior Network Security Engineer with deep experience and knowledge in designing and integrating network security solutions. In this role, you will leverage your strong understanding of Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco solutions to identify network security-related risks and to design and implement appropriate controls to mitigate those risks. You will analyze network diagrams and designs to determine the required security controls, ensuring that our network infrastructure is robust and secure against potential threats. As a leader, you will manage a team of security engineers, providing both technology and execution leadership. Collaboration is key in this position; you will work closely with partner organizations to prioritize the implementation of security controls and minimize security exposure. Balancing resource availability, scope of work, security risk, and project deadlines will be essential as you prioritize work requests. You will provide direction to network engineering teams on the integration of security solutions into existing networks, guiding the development of policies and rule sets that mitigate risks while addressing functional requirements. Additionally, you will document and diagram network security controls, patterns, and their requirements, establishing role and responsibility matrices to facilitate the transition of technologies to operations.
