The AVP, AMTF Strategies Credit Implementation role is a pivotal position within Synchrony, reporting directly to the VP, Credit Strategies Implementation Lead. This role is primarily responsible for the implementation of Authorization and Real-Time Credit Line Increase requests. The successful candidate will be tasked with building, testing, supporting, and managing the authorization, fraud, and credit line increase request systems for a diverse range of clients, including Co-Brand, Dual Card, Private Label, Commercial, and PS/CC clients. The role also involves participating in the design, mockups, testing, and implementation of the future state of our authorization engines, utilizing Java Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. In addition to the technical responsibilities, the AVP will manage Credit Account Management Infrastructure Real-Time Systems change requests, ensuring that the processes for Authorization, Fraud, and Real-Time Credit Line Increase are efficient and effective. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams on various product and client launches, interfacing with Agile teams following SAFe protocol to prioritize and deliver stories. The AVP will also be involved in the transformation and maintenance of code into a modularized environment, adhering to Java OOP best practices. Other duties may include special projects as assigned, making this a dynamic and multifaceted position.
