The AVP, PRISM Scrum Master will be responsible for leading multiple agile scrum teams executing on development for Strategic Initiatives within the Credit organization, and PRISM Large Solution. This role requires fostering agile behavior and acting as a servant leader and coach to the teams. The Scrum Master will assist self-organizing teams in achieving their goals and commitments by facilitating discussions and meetings, collaborating across the company, removing roadblocks, maintaining team focus, and fostering continuous delivery and improvements. In this position, the Scrum Master will support SAFe Core Values, apply SAFe Principles, and implement/follow SAFe practices. They will manage a diverse IT team that includes application architects, data engineers, developers, QA, UX designers, and outsourced vendors. The Scrum Master will facilitate collaboration across agile teams, ART, Large Solution, dependency teams, third parties, and waterfall teams to ensure alignment with the team's PI commitments. They will manage iterations and PI, ensuring that order, process, delivery, and priorities are accurate and timely. The Scrum Master will work closely with Product Owners and teams to ensure that deliverables and feedback are completed on time and meet iteration timelines. They will support agile teams and Release Trains/Solutions in shaping requirements, defining, building, testing, demoing, and deploying solutions, as well as managing release and post-release efforts. Additionally, the Scrum Master will ensure that repository management platforms adhere to SYF IT PMO policies and standards, capturing development stories, acceptance criteria, and all related documentation in a timely manner. The role also involves creating platforms and environments for solution demos and user acceptance testing, facilitating technical collaboration with third parties, and effectively communicating across agile teams and the organization. The Scrum Master will conduct SAFe ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos/reviews, retrospectives, and PI planning events, while generating progress reports such as burn down charts and iteration stats. They will advocate for autonomous, self-organizing, empowered, and continuously improving teams, and perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
