About the position

The Program Manager role within the Chief of Staff team for State Street's Chairman and CEO is a highly visible and challenging position that serves as the central coordination point for all deliverables related to the Chairman and CEO. This role involves supporting Executive Committee meetings, tracking follow-ups on strategic priorities, and managing internal and external communications. The position requires initiative, independent thinking, and the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, including EC members and other State Street leaders, employees, community partners, and investor relations regarding the Chairman and CEO's commitments.
  • Partner with the Chief of Staff to ensure the Chairman and CEO is prepared for all upcoming engagements.
  • Work with the internal communications team to plan and execute the Chairman and CEO's internal engagement strategy, including live events, written letters, videos, and other communication methods.
  • Brainstorm and conceptualize new methods for the Chairman and CEO to engage with stakeholders.
  • Maintain materials, organizational charts, and membership lists for the Executive Committee, Executive Vice Presidents, and Operating Group.
  • Coordinate and handle document production and special projects as requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years related experience in a corporate environment
  • Ability to manage highly sensitive, confidential information with complete discretion
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and meet deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong decision-making capability and a can-do approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Ability to interact and communicate comfortably with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
