About the position

The Senior AWS Cloud Backend Java Developer role involves implementing data normalization and ingestion solutions in AWS, specifically for the Nasdaq backoffice application. The position requires strong technical skills in Java and AWS, along with the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical customers.

Responsibilities

• Implement data normalization and ingestion solutions in AWS using S3, Postgres, Java, Kubernetes, and Unix Utilities.
• Define a strategy for data flows to meet the requirements of the Nasdaq backoffice application.
• Provide excellent customer service and explain technical solutions to non-technical customers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of overall experience in software development.
• A university degree or college diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years of development experience in Java.
• Strong analytical skills for complex and creative problem solving.
• Experience in object-oriented software development (Java).
• Experience with Database technologies (PostgresSQL).
• Experience in automated testing.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
