AWS Cloud DevOPs Engineer

About the position

The position requires strong working experience in Cloud technologies, particularly in Cloud infrastructure. The candidate should have hands-on experience and knowledge of various cloud components such as EC2, Load balancers, IAM, VPC, Storage solutions, S3, Cloud formation, Compute, Bastion hosts, Cloud watch, subnets, and Routing. The role involves leading the implementation and definition of Infrastructure as Code tools including CloudFormation Templates, Chef, Jenkins, Terraform, and Git. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with various agent types like Qualys, CrowdStrike, Splunk, New Relic, Chef, and Prisma. The position also requires the ability to understand and identify relevant integrations and interfaces to other GE or external systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement and define Infrastructure as Code tools including CloudFormation Templates, Chef, Jenkins, Terraform, and Git.
• Manage and configure core IAM services within IT infrastructure.
• Set up and manage security groups and network ACLs in AWS.
• Configure and validate backups, mount storage, and implement cybersecurity tools.
• Set up and verify logging and monitoring tools.
• Manage load balancers with authentication and install SSL certificates for secure application deployment.
• Ensure secure and scalable cloud environments using AWS services.

Requirements

• Strong working experience in Cloud technologies (e.g., AWS/Azure).
• Hands-on experience with cloud components (EC2, Load balancers, IAM, VPC, Storage solutions, S3, Cloud formation, Compute, Bastion hosts, Cloud watch, subnets, Routing).
• Experience with various agent types (e.g., Qualys, CrowdStrike, Splunk, New Relic, Chef, Prisma).
• Proficiency in managing and configuring core IAM services.
• Expertise in setting up and managing security groups and network ACLs in AWS.
• Ability to configure and validate backups and implement cybersecurity tools.
• Experience in setting up and verifying logging and monitoring tools.
• Competence in managing load balancers and installing SSL certificates.

Benefits

• Base Salary Range: $85,000 / Annum - $120,000 / Annum
