About the position

The AWS Cloud Developer role focuses on developing and building ETL processes using AWS Glue services in Python. The position requires familiarity with both programmatic and declarative approaches to cloud infrastructure setup, particularly through CloudFormation. The developer will work with various AWS services and will also have exposure to on-premise Java development, specifically in backend service development and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and build ETL processes using AWS Glue services in Python.
• Set up cloud infrastructure using programmatic and declarative approaches, particularly through CloudFormation.
• Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, Secrets Manager, Schedulers, EventBridge, and CloudWatch.
• Orchestrate workflows and manage related AWS tools.
• Maintain and develop backend services using Java, Spring, Hibernate, and Oracle DBMS.
• Participate in the end-to-end development process including code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.

Requirements

• Experience in developing ETL processes using AWS Glue services in Python.
• Familiarity with CloudFormation for cloud infrastructure setup.
• Proficient in AWS services including Lambda, Secrets Manager, and CloudWatch.
• Exposure to Java development, particularly in backend services using Spring and Hibernate.
• Knowledge of the complete development process for AWS cloud and Java services.
