About the position

As an AWS Cloud Developer, you will be responsible for building and deploying applications using a variety of Amazon Web Services, with a primary focus on Cloud Formation, serverless architectures, compute services, EKS, and database services. Your role will involve full-stack development across distributed applications and services, ensuring that the solutions you create are robust, scalable, and efficient. You will leverage your expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C# to implement design patterns and object-oriented principles in your work. In this position, you will also be expected to have hands-on experience with REST APIs or GraphQL, and to be proficient in Unix shell and PowerShell scripting. Your familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle in an agile environment will be crucial, as you will be involved in building CI/CD pipelines, with a preference for those who have proficiency with Jenkins. Additionally, a good working knowledge of tools like JIRA/Confluence and Datadog will be beneficial. The role may also involve working with machine learning and AI models, as well as experience with Oracle RDBMS, which are considered advantageous. Responsibilities

  • Build and deploy applications using Amazon Web Services, focusing on Cloud Formation, serverless architectures, compute services, EKS, and database services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a technology-related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science).
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly Cloud Formation, serverless, compute, EKS, and database services.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C# (Python preferred).
  • Experience with REST APIs or GraphQL.
  • Proficient in Unix shell and PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience in building CI/CD pipelines, with a preference for Jenkins proficiency.
  • Familiarity with JIRA/Confluence and Datadog is a plus.
  • Experience with machine learning and AI models is a plus.
  • Experience with Oracle RDBMS is a plus.
