About the position

Infosys is seeking an AWS Cloud Developer with expertise in Amazon Redshift and Amazon EMR to design, develop, and implement ETL pipelines. This role involves collaborating with data architects and engineers to ensure data processes meet business needs, optimizing workflows for performance, and maintaining data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ETL pipelines using Amazon Redshift and EMR.
• Collaborate closely with data architects, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Optimize and tune ETL workflows for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and error handling mechanisms.
• Work with large datasets and big data technologies to process and analyze data efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing and ETL workflows in Redshift and EMR environments.
• Document ETL processes, data mappings, and system architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• At least 2 years of experience with Information Technology.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in AWS Cloud ETL.
• At least 2 years of experience using Amazon Redshift and EMR.
• At least 2 years of experience working with ETL Tools: Matillion, Informatica, Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, or similar.
• At least 2 years of experience with Programming Languages: Python, JavaScript, Bash Scripting.
• At least 2 years of experience with Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle 11g, SQL Server.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with API and Frameworks: API, REST web services.
• Familiarity with AWS Services: EC2, S3, Glacier, IAM, Kinesis, Cloud Front, Cloud Watch, Code Pipeline, Code Build, Elastic Beanstalk, EFS, VPC, RDS, API Gateway, RedShift, EMR, Cloud Formation.
• Experience with Source Code Management: GIT, BitBucket, Code Commit.
