About the position

T-Rex Solutions LLC is a leading business combining innovative Next Generation IT ("NGIT") capabilities and enabling skills to provide industry-leading solutions to the federal government with a focus on cloud infrastructure and engineering, cybersecurity and large systems integration. T-Rex is part of the winning team awarded a program to support the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) by providing enterprise architecture, data, and engineering services to USTRANSCOM, US Air Force Air Mobility Command (AMC), and US Army Surface Deployment Distribution Command (SDDC). The team will develop and deliver enterprise architecture products, capability prototypes, system plans, enterprise cloud services, cybersecurity solutions, and data management services; as well as provide enterprise architecture tool operations support for service offerings across USTRANSCOM and its Transportation Component Commands. As the command transitions into commercial cloud services and future capabilities, T-Rex will support integration efforts to perform analysis across enterprise, systems of systems, and individual system levels as well as assist the Government in developing enterprise strategies, technical standards, and services. All work will be performed at Scott Air Force Base.

Responsibilities

  • Experience developing AWS IaC and CI/CD pipelines to support an Enterprise AWS cloud environment
  • Ability to work independently or in a small team setting
  • Knowledge of ICAM and ICAM processes such SAML, Oauth, and Federated Identities
  • Knowledge of Government Cloud (AWS GovCloud etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently, with minimum supervision, while still meeting deadlines
  • Highly motivated, self-learner, and technically inquisitive
  • AWS Certification
  • Comprehensive understanding of AWS including AWS Command Line (CLI), current AWS product offerings and services, best practices and troubleshooting techniques, and experience providing systems administration and issue resolution for AWS
  • Demonstrated proficiency with one or more scripting or programming languages
  • Experience with designing, building, and maintaining Application Programming interfaces (APIs) and documentation using programming languages like Java, Python, Ruby
  • Experience understanding and defining API requirements
  • Familiarity with MS SQL / MySQL development including data modeling, concurrency, stored procedure development and tuning
  • Experience in API security and authentication ensuring the organization is compliant
  • Monitor and troubleshoots API performance as necessary
  • Solid understanding of basic networking principles, components and terminology. Experience with hardware or software Load Balancers, VPNs, firewalls preferred but not required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Secret Security Clearance
  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or a related role, with a focus on delivering security solutions to clients
  • CompTIA Security+ or comparable IAT/IAM II/III certification required prior to hire

Nice-to-haves

  • DoD.8570/8140 IAM III Certification (CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.) preferred
  • Experience or certification in Containerization technology
