This project involves transitioning from a SoftwareAG-centric solution to a cloud-native architecture on the AWS platform, facilitating the movement and consolidation of data for participating counties. Your role will require you to leverage existing APIs and web services to create a more efficient and modernized solution that meets the needs of the stakeholders involved. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable cloud solutions using AWS services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing SOAP-based web services, implementing custom headers, and managing MTOM (Message Transmission Optimization Mechanism) attachments to optimize data transmission. Your contributions will include implementing serverless architectures using AWS Lambda functions, orchestrating workflows with AWS Step Functions, and ensuring the security and integrity of data through custom header management. You will also be expected to maintain high standards of code quality and performance through automated testing and code reviews, while continuously staying updated on AWS best practices and sharing your insights with the team.
