About the position

The AWS Cloud Developer at T-Rex Solutions will play a crucial role in supporting the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) by developing and delivering enterprise architecture products, capability prototypes, and cloud services. This position focuses on creating and managing AWS infrastructure, ensuring cybersecurity compliance, and providing data management services. The role requires a blend of technical expertise in AWS, programming, and security solutions, with a strong emphasis on independent work and collaboration within a small team.

Responsibilities

• Develop AWS Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines for an Enterprise AWS cloud environment.
• Work independently or collaboratively in a small team setting.
• Understand and implement Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) processes such as SAML, Oauth, and Federated Identities.
• Manage multiple tasks independently while meeting deadlines.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of AWS services, CLI, and best practices.
• Provide systems administration and issue resolution for AWS environments.
• Design, build, and maintain Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) using languages like Java, Python, or Ruby.
• Monitor and troubleshoot API performance and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Familiarity with MS SQL/MySQL development and API security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Secret Security Clearance.
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or a related role.
• CompTIA Security+ or comparable IAT/IAM II/III certification required prior to hire.

Nice-to-haves

• DoD.8570/8140 IAM III Certification (CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.) preferred.
• Experience or certification in Containerization technology.
