About the position

The AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and managing secure and scalable AWS infrastructure solutions. This role requires expertise in various AWS services and a strong understanding of cloud security principles to support business applications effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring robust and scalable solutions to support business applications.
  • Configure and optimize AWS Networking components, including VPCs, subnets, route tables, NACLs, and security groups for secure and efficient network architecture.
  • Use AWS Control Tower to set up multi-account environments, ensuring security, governance, and compliance across AWS accounts.
  • Implement and manage AWS CloudFront for high-performance content delivery, optimizing for latency and caching requirements.
  • Utilize AWS Certificate Manager to provision, manage, and deploy SSL/TLS certificates, securing applications and data transmissions.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications on AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), handling scaling, load balancing, and automated container management.
  • Use AWS Systems Manager to streamline infrastructure management tasks, automate patching, configuration, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to ensure alignment between infrastructure and application needs.
  • Establish security best practices, conduct regular infrastructure audits, and resolve potential vulnerabilities.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in designing and configuring VPCs, VPNs, Direct Connect, Security Groups, Route 53, and NACLs for secure and optimized network setups.
  • Experience setting up and managing AWS multi-account environments using Control Tower for governance and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with content delivery, caching strategies, and security configurations in AWS CloudFront.
  • Proficient in managing SSL/TLS certificates and ensuring secure, encrypted communication across AWS-hosted services.
  • Skilled in deploying, managing, and scaling applications on Kubernetes clusters hosted on AWS.
  • Experience in automation, patch management, inventory tracking, and configuration compliance using Systems Manager.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles, IAM policies, and security best practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty).
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) for provisioning AWS resources.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CodePipeline.
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation and task orchestration.
