About the position

The AWS Cloud Operations Lead will be responsible for managing the operations of the SHARP secure cloud infrastructure, platforms, and software. This role involves understanding business objectives, analyzing user requirements, and ensuring that cloud solutions adhere to security and compliance standards. The position requires a hands-on approach to develop automated provisioning patterns, manage cloud deployments, and resolve application and security issues.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain multiple environments for increased observability.
• Develop tools to continuously improve maintainability, monitoring, security, and scalability of cloud deployments.
• Provide operations support and enhancement of the SHARP platform.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud operations.
• Strong knowledge of security and compliance standards in cloud solutions.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving application and security cloud issues.
• Ability to analyze user requirements and improve existing systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Splunk for monitoring and analysis.
• Knowledge of Dev/Ops concepts.
• AWS SysOps Administrator Certification.
