Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable cloud solutions using AWS technologies.
• Provide technical leadership for cloud infrastructures ensuring efficiency, adaptability, and security.
• Engage in strategic planning and requirements analysis for cloud architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet technical and mission-driven requirements.
• Drive cost-effectiveness and operational excellence in cloud deployments.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture or its functional areas, including web application systems integration.
• 3+ years of experience with DoD AWS cloud integrations, including Unclassified, Secret, and Top-Secret environments.
• Experience with microservices and container platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, or AWS EKS.
• Experience in hybrid deployments, including virtual machines (VMs), OVAs, EC2s, and containerized applications managed by Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS tools or orchestration platforms in a cloud environment such as Kubernetes, EKS, Diode, or Lambda.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science and 10+ years of experience with IT or Computer Science, or Master’s degree and 8+ years of experience with IT or Computer Science.
• IAT Level II Certification such as CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, or CySA+ Certification.
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional Certification.
• AWS DevOps Engineer Professional Certification.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience optimizing performance and cost-effectiveness in cloud architectures.
• Experience with security frameworks, compliance validation, and governance processes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Knowledge of advanced networking architectures and interconnectivity solutions.
• Possession of excellent analytical skills to support process improvement and definition of requirements.
• AWS SysOps Administrator Associate Certification.
• AWS Advanced Networking Specialty Certification.
